Rare Breeds - The Havanese

Dogs are part of the family and should always be taken with you when you move - even that of 1500 and the move is to "civilized" Europe to the wilderness of the New World. But dogs braved the harsh sea voyages along with their families and settled into a new world to start with them. In Cuba, which Columbus claimed for Spain in 1492, a spunky toy breed developed clear now known as the Havanese, Havana, after the capital city of Cuba

Due to the richness ofCuban colonies Havanese were shipped back and forth across the Atlantic to Spain along with other treasures of the New World. The silk-coated assistants won the hearts and turns of European aristocracy. When the dog shows began in the 18th century, the Havanese were shown at the races. However, when the Cuban Revolution occurred in 1970, a toy dog, someone has been sentenced to death. The Havanses had to flee to Cuba with their families.

Not Metthe conquest of hearts and homes of a nation, the Havanese is now conquering North America. Although only introduced in 1970 after the revolution, the Havanese is making a name for himself in and out of the ring. The race was now American Kennel Club and the American Rare Breeds Association has recognized. They colonize in and best holiday. They make great companions for individuals and families.

The Havanese dogs make great apartment and familya lively and optimistic attitude. They can be quite playful and need a good break at least once a day. They keep the dogs service of choice for families lucky enough to live with them.
