Samoyed puppy and dog information

The Samoyed is a high energy dog, as in nature. They are designed for cold climates need care and assistance to look good. They love their human family and tend to favor one person. You may have problems with other pets, so they need early socialization. They love older children in general. Reminder: Never leave a child unsupervised with a puppy or dog.

Approximate size adults

The approximate adult size (two years or more)the male Samoyed is 21 to 23.5 cm at the withers (highest point of the shoulder) and 45 to 65 pounds. The female ranges from 19-21 cm at the withers and 35 to 50 pounds.

Special considerations for health
